I just finished the demo and here's what I want to say from my impression of it.

The game is truly a tribute to the classic survival horror. I like the first one where you actually have to escape from the monsters (I died once, by the way). You've actually made a good job scaring and disturbing at some points. As for the battle system, it's much more fleshed out than your previous game, Project Viral (also a good horror game fyi). The story itself is quite interesting, it really fits the survival horror genre with its mystery element. I'm really interested to know more about Eden Hall and what's really going on in there. It's simple, but it'd be even better if you make a few twists.

I just have one gripe but it doesn't bother me that much. I notice a few grammar errors. For example, rather than say 'more creepy,' it's better to say 'much creepier'. Another one is the conversation with Travis when you first met him. I hope you can fix the grammars.

Also, I don't think the characters seem to flesh out well, but I let that slip away seeing this is just a demo. Maybe we get to see their characters developed as the game progresses on.

Overall, I think it's looking good. It does have most of the horror elements that truly represent the horror genre. I'm looking forward for the full release of this game smile.gif

Thanks and yes I'm working on mysterious twists and turns. It will stay clearly traditional. I'm curious what parts creep'd you out by the way?
Eden Hall itself is based of a real place. The aim was to be realistic in every way aside from the fictional story itself and the supernatural phenomena going on. I'll revise those grammar mistakes. However, Penny should really be the only character that speaks fluently because those teenagers aren't as educated as her I guess.

I'm aiming to finish this Project sometime this year. I have exams, tons of coursework, work, other writings and projects in development. I'm extremely busy so bare with me on this. The good thing is this game has a clear plot that has been decided so I already know where its heading. Hopefully the full game won't disappoint you.

EDIT
Sorry just looked into the game quickly and realized you mean grammar mistake. I just revised the grammar and found no grammar mistakes. There weren't any mistakes and I checked them all on Microsoft Word. Before I even uploaded the game most of the text was all edited on Word, spell checked etc. Definitely the more complicated sentences said. I would say there was a "dialect mistake" which was with Croid's speech. But at the end of the day that wasn't even that much of a mistake more like the way it was said was more unnatural to how it would be said in "Pure spoken English". That said, again these characters all being youths, what do expect from them as they express themselves. Perfect speech, I don't think so.

EDIT Damn, it I just accidentally bumped the post. Sorry. Fortunately though it didn't undermine any other comments in other Projects. Phew. If there was any grammar errors it probably would have been during the events rather than from cutscenes and dialogue...

Well, the things that got me scared were during the opening. When I got to the school's entrance, that scream and that horrifying image got me scared. I thought something that scary would only happen when you enter it, I just didn't expect it to be sooner.

Another scary moment was the Group Study Library. I swear, I kept feeling that there's someone in the room and I was right. So I get out of the Group Study Library as quickly as possible.

So Eden Hall is actually based on a real haunted place? That's quite interesting.

Well, take your time with your work, it's important to finish your daily schedules first before finishing this game.

Yeah it is, you should check out information on the real Eden Hall. I'm not rushing this one and I'm glad some of the chilling effects took their tole on you. My aim is to scare the player without allowing them to anticipate such scares through psychologically messing around with their heads based on the information they learn whilst in Eden Hall. I want them to be disturbed but its no longer "pure horror" as I've shifted it to a focus on "Psychological Survival Horror" instead.
