Personally I would not ask until you have something to actually show or a playable demo, and I swear this place had a recruit forum?...
My answer is no, wait until you have something to show and more than 1-2 screenshots actual gameplay video.
Ikr, i was wondering wear that recruit thing was..i thought i was imagining things so i forgot about it.
A demo? I had some cool projects i made but they didnt function very well, so i deleted them to make more space on my hard disk for more productive stuff..(now i regret deleting them. i would've shown them )
I was planning on gathering people who interested on forming a group and e-mail them a small presentation. But I think I will do a presentation first and post it so people can decide if they want to form a group with me.
There actually was a Recruit Forum but because it didn't worked well (projects and people working on them sometimes simply dissapear), they decided to shut it down. If you want to have feedback from your project just release a little demo or some concept/screens and a plot for your story. If you're lucky, people will PM you and will help you, but it's hardly going to work. Sorry. :/
I'm glad you regret deleting demos, those stuff shouldn't be deleted, you should just keep them and when you gathered enough experience to make something better, you'll look down to them and say "Hmmm I could do better right now."
If you need help I'm all aboard, but again, I'm focused of my little project as well and I learned the hard way that you're not going to get any attention unless you release something with individuality of its own; no concept, or whatever. A nice demo and a nice layout design on your post should keep the attention.
