I'm a newb at making the exterior of a house and I want some advice on how to make these maps much better:

This is the first map and the home of my hero in my incomplete game and so naturally it should look its best. Oh and also I want to know if I should
get rid of them stupid trees.

I accidentally uploaded an extra pic so ignore it.

You should post these in the screen shot critique thread, you are more likely to get the advice you need there. I'd move it for you, but not within my power XD.

I took a quick look around the screen shot critique thread and saw what you meant so I am now going to repost this there. Thanks for telling this by the way!

The links you posted are broke, You should like Shaddowval said put these in the screenshot critique thread. Though they look good I think finding a way to bunch them up in areas would help and maybe some other things like sticks, logs, flowers or rocks could help this. Also the random barrel seems awkward where it is, maybe place it closer to the house. the view is pretty nice, I wouldn't have thought of that.

D...n I'm lucky! ...Sorry that was random but anyway sorry for not having flowers and such...That would have been nice but this chip set

http://www.rpgrevolution.com/forums/style_.../attach_add.png isn't included with them.

As for the barrel...I forgot to get rid of it. And thanks for the compliment on the view! This makes me feel really confident. Oh and I just posted this in the screenshot critique thread but its too cluttered and I cant find my post... Is there another place to post this or another way to put pics in this thread?Anyway time to go improve this map even more. And you can use this chip set as a gift if you have rpgmaker 2000 or 2003.

there is alot of ways but the most efficient way is to take the pic (with prtscrn or some way then upload it to a image host like image shack photobucket Then use the direct link in the post. also the screenshot critique thread isn't cluttered, You go to the last page and make a new post. Building confidence is what we do best, don't let anyone discourage you.
