Ok, I am back again with another awesome event that I made for a battle scene.
What is this?Glad you ask! This event gives detail to your game. If you ever played Super Mario RPG then you noticed that when the characters were put in a state such as poisoned they changed to a purple tint.
What do you need?Well you need some knowledge of:
Common events
How to recolor graphics and a graphic program. (I use Gale.)
Conditional Branches.
And lastly common sense!
Let's do this!? Alright seem you guys are patient enough.
1st: I made a new state just give a different variant to my game. I named this state: Raunchy.
Now if you made a new state you could just copy the effects of poison like I did.
2nd: Recolor your graphics. I will show you an example of a graphic i did:
This is my general Brock that you play as in my game.

- Now this is what happens when he gets poisoned -

3rd: You now ready to make your common event.
Go to your common event page and name a new one as your state or what ever you want.
Make a new event process which will be a conditional branch. Click to the 2nd tab and click your actor that will you chose to get this
effect. Drop down to the state dropbox and select your new state or the state you are using.
Now under your conditional branch part do another event that will be on your 3rd tab that is called Chang Actor Graphic. Make this your new actor graphic that you just made. Mine would be the purple face Brock.
Lastly in the else do change character graphic again and make it the original graphic.
You are done! Easy and simple.
Any questions, comments, or concerns just ask!
