I am having a small problem with battle events, the ones on troop pages. The problem is that if I set an event to go off a monsters 1% or below hp, it will not trigger if that is the last monster killed. It works just fine if there is still battle happening, but otherwise it does not go off. I have a few events based on this and it's a small problem I would like to correct. I have need of the monster to actually be killed for this event to trigger, I'd like to not allow the player to mostly damage the monster and run and still get the event to trigger.

As with most of my issues it is probably something really simple, if you know a way to fix this or work around it, please let me know.

If RMXP, what is the span?

EDIT:
Personally, I would have it add 1 to a variable you defined for each time the monster is killed. If the value is not equal to the monster total (define beforehand), then it will display the final monster message. Finally, have it reset the variable value.

Make enemy immortal, when HP is 0% do your battle event thingy then force kill it.
Works like a charm.

I'm using RMVX, I also did not realize there was a way to make enemies immortal, I'll look into finding it, but in case I cannot, could you point out where I do that?

When creating the enemy troop, I believe you just right click on the enemy graphic and can indicate immortal from there.

OMG, so simple....as always my problems have the simplest solutions. dry.gif Thanks so much for this everyone. Now I can complete my next event tutorial XD

edit: The worst part about this is that I already had a set of troops that transform when they die, using this same method....I dunno how I forgot that.
