Then feast your eyes on this! He was known as the puppet master of Russia, this is one of the Russian soldiers under his trance control! I even did a cool black and white Russian movie/cutscene for the game and it works great, im thinking about putting them throughout the whole game happy.gif but i wont share that just yet. 2003 is so cool wish I had used it first all those years ago.

Yeah, 2003 is definitely not an abandoned piece of software - there are a lot of 2003 users, and many resources and tutorials for making games in it. =]

The soldier almost looks drunk (I guess being drunk makes you look weak like that soldier, lol), but you did a good job on him. happy.gif

Well yeah hes a puppet slave with no will of his own happy.gif which actually fits the historical facts pretty well. Im doing the events right now, but doing the battlers is by far the most fun, well the movie was but its all good.

Nice airship. Although, it seems too blue for me (Que Eiffel 65). But still, that's really awesome. Did you do it from scratch or used a reference?

For the keyblade, I would make the handle a bit shorter, yellow metal, and a 'handle grabbing' area (can always search it up) Still, looks nifty none the less.

I used a reference for the airship, wasnt to sure about it, i dont really like using them because I dont do future games, but its good to try things out. I dont like keyblades but maybe someone can use it and like it.

Bump/update

Ok this is the first full tileset Ive ever tried to do, exerbrus started a few of them but never edited/cleaned them up for use so im doing the very long job of doing it in PS, this is just one of them that I have done so far, its still being worked on, and is NOT for USE.

So what you guys think?

Personally I'd say you need to look at the perspective of tilesets, I assume this is for RM. You need to slightly show the top of the objects.
Try referencing the actual tiles.

Yes as I said before they are unusable now, im only cleaning up the edges and filling in spots here and there, if I actually knew how to make a tileset from scratch I would have made many by now. This is going to be a VERY slow process while I clean them up as I cant seem to find anyone to hire to complete them.

It's not a case of the edges or filling, what I was trying to advise is that the angle of the tiles themselves are facing directly forward. The player would be looking at them from almost a 45 degree angle.

I know how long it takes to learn to do tilesets I've been there, what I am trying to do is help you. You'll find out why it's hard to find people who'd do this because it is hard to do, like as you said they'd be many made by now.

I am ONLY doing the edges and fillings, so that when I DO actually find someone that knows about the rest then they will be ready that much faster. As far as learning how to make a tileset I havent even tried to start one, though that does sound like fun. BUT i have used these in game and I like them, they have a much more limited use then other sets but add a differnt feeling to the world when you walk around in one, now that im cleaning them up they will work even better. im not going to change the angle of anything as I dont know what the artist was thinking so im not gonna guess, all I know is its beautiful art happy.gif and thats why im Art Staff, funny how that works out.

Why thank you happy.gif its good to have your work admired. I have been trying out a lot of differnt things lately and just love posting them, these tile sets though are really gonna be something special when I get them done, ppl forget that most great art takes time, this is why im the art staff I guess cool.gif and I love what I do. Rasputin was a special job, editing battlers is by no mean a easy task, and I wanted him historically accurate as well. He turned out great! I can only hope that the rest of the battlers I do turn out just s good. its going to be hell when I try and do a 2003 tile set.

I need to do/post more of my char art though cause thats what im the best at, I had no idea I was so good until I ran out of ppl to hire lol. such is life though. Keep in mind im open to requests as I love RRR!
