Hi, another question. while messing around trying to configure a preferable menu system, ive been coming across this symbol thing. i was gonna try to figure it out, but its kinda getting to me now. tongue.gif i can see it has something to do with the new handler thing. and im getting the hang of that. but the handler is being defined in window selectable "def set_handler(symbol, method)". can someone fill me in on this? is the symbol just simply the :item thingy that comes after the handler sets the command? i think im on the right track, but if i fully understand it, i think i can move on alot faster. i THINK its just the general command name. but it seems weird. hope i didn't drag this out. thanks for any answers. tongue.gif

Yes window commands are defined with those handlers now, and this is much efficient than before. It's defined within Window_Selectable and takes two arguments. The first symbol can be ohmy.gifk, :cancel, :pageup or :pagedown and are called depending of the user input. The second argument is also a symbol, linked to the first. However it's a method name you have to define in the scene that calls the window.

You can add more handler tokens (the first symbol) by editing the "process_handling' method.
