Story fun!, Join in a story Options

I think everyone has played this game at one point. Each person adds something to the story. No stupid stuff please? If you see someone who has written something like "then suddenly they all slipped in shit and died. the end." delete it, because that isn't the purpose of it.
If it gets that far, the 20th person has to end it. We'll see what the do....

"Four days had passed since new years, and the people had returned to their normal selves. School was about to start, and I was getting ready for the day back. I realized I was missing my math book. I searched the house top to bottom and still nothing. While searching, I passed the clock in the living room. I was late!"


Take it as offbeat as you can go, try to add a touch of fantasy. =D

"I didn't want to be late for the first day of school. There's nothing like starting the year off coming late to school.

I decided to leave the book. It's not like we'd really do much on the first day anyway, besides read through the various syllabi. If I really needed to, I was sure I could share a book with someone else.

I grabbed a quick piece of toast and ran out the door. Maybe if I hurried a bit I could make it to school on time? I was cutting it close, that's for sure."

As I was running to school, I happened to notice this odd figure across the road.
He was dressed in an old dark cloak and began waving at me, as to say stop....
dont go, dont go ! Slowly he began to lift back the hood that enshrouded his face
and a huge blue light began to wind itself around his torso.
I gazed up the street only to find that I was now on my own....for a minute I stood
frozen. The air was filled with an eerie silence....
Hmm...next one.

A horn blazed, I turned to look and a car was coming right forme. The dark figure appeared behind me and dragged me out of its way. I wanted to thank him, but stunned, all I could muster was a dry shrill " Thanks". Looking up at him I noticed something strange about his face, the symbols on it, I had seen them before...

I would have ignored him and continued on with my day... However, he spoked in a way that seemed like it was... true, almost. Who was he? Should I continue on? Where have I seen these symbols before? Why would he have symbols?

Those symbols.... yes, my little brother showed me those symbols...he had drawn
them on his notepad before he died in a car crash the following week... OOHHH!

Something was wrong, it seemed that I ran a lot slower than I used to. Suddenly, I noticed that my legs were getting smaller. I struggled to keep them going as long as I could, but alas, no avail...

I fell face-down, my now-baggy pants being the reason why I fell.

Stupid pants, I thought. I didn't realize that it was my own legs that was the problem.

30 MINUTES LATER.......

I walked into the classroom with twigs and dirt on my clothes, and noticed an eerie silence. How embarrassing, I forgot to clean myself...

I noticed that they remained silent... to the point where it was just weird, they didn't move at all, nor move their glance, even when I went to sit. Umm... what's going on? It's been like 2 minutes, I tried saying something to get their attention...

"Hello - AH!" It didn't sound like my voice. It wasn't my voice! At least, I didn't think it was.
Jumping down off my chair, I realised that it was already occupied. It was as if I wasn't there, and time was frozen. On top of all that, I thought I'd gotten younger.
