It's from then on that they journey throughout a broken world filled with severed limbs, blood lust and many delicious mushrooms to free themselves and others from the horrors of their wonderland.

Story 18 year old Allen and 15 year old Aliss do not recognize the place they wake up in. Even while exploring it, the place just feels...foreign. Their memories seem to have been misplaced and to make matters worse there are frightening things happening before their very eyes! Only a black rabbit could give them the answers to the horrid place: that this world is a wonderland ruled by a queen with a lot of cold heart and that they are never meant to return to the world they once knew. With a stack of playing cards and an arsenal of weaponry Allen and Aliss embark on a journey to obtain their missing memories, escape wonderland, and to obtain the evil queen's head on a silver platter if it isn't too much to ask.
Setting A land of dreams where lanterns grow on trees, castles sail out on the sea, and where carnivorous undead beasts stalk the candy cane forests desperately searching for a quick snack. Wonderland is no playground for children, why not even the toymaker likes the way they taste! It is a world made up of talking animals and deadly creatures. Wonderland has 9 known regions to it, all unique in their own way and all possessing different enemies to hunt you and requiring different strategies for you to survive. Only a fool would think of venturing out in the wilds alone.
Characters ~~~Allen~~~ Name - Allen Age - 18 Gender - Male Date of Birth: October 31st Personality - Allen possesses an optimistic take on life. He is easily frightened and does not like assumption at all. He tends to act based on the facts that he knows in the moment and has a curious take on investigation. It is extremely cautious and curious about the new world he now roams. Biography - Allen doesn't quite remember his own past. What he does know is that his name is Allen and that he finds the taste of the Wonderland mushrooms to be absolutely exquisite!
~~~Aliss~~~ Name - Aliss Age - 15 Gender - Female Date of Birth: February 14th Personality - Aliss is eager to get what she wants. She never takes "no" for an answer and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve what she perceives as perfection. She never backs down and has quite the temper. Aliss acts based on her own gut instinct which gets her into trouble. Biography - Aliss has forgotten her past completely. All she knows is that her name is Aliss and that she finds talking rabbits to be very annoying.

Overall Progress Update - Custom tileset finished. Most level 1 maps finished. Story writing for level 1 - in progress.
o Demo Date pushed back to unknown date. Major story changes included to allow player to experience both Aliss and Allen story lines in one playthrough. Two story parts melded into 1 reshapes the sections and flow of game and gamplay. Custom tileset is at exactly 75% completion. Demo is at a 50% completion. Battle system is still not set(May have to request a custom one).[4-9-2012]
o Custom Tile C is nearly complete, game sound effects and music has been set for Demo. Demo's Story Script now at 45% completion. Custom Tile A tiles are nearing completion. [3-24-2012]
o Permission to use Sakura Phoenix's magnificanet tilesets has been granted. Custom wonderland tilesets have begun production including custom A1, A5, B and C tiles.[3-18-2012]
o All of the music tracks have been selected and arranged for their perspective areas. 1/3 of complete demo is approved and tested with no bugs. [3-13-2012]

Thanks guys! There is a pretty heavy focus on exploration and puzzles(Mostly on exploration and rare item collection). I'm aiming for replayability with this game so hopefully the gameplay and puzzles are fun. So far there are about 60 card items to find collect and a good amount of weapons and hidden dungeons or "rabbit holes" as it's called in the game.
As for the battles and combat I haven't decided which battle system to use but I'm leaning towards an altered side view battle system but an altered version of the VX battle system could also work greatly for the game. Cards are separated into diamond, club, heart, and spade categories. A character can equip up to three at a time and each three will give Aliss or Allen special advantages in battle(like increased attack, defense, resistance to certain traits, etc).
A playable demo of the first area of the game's wonderland should be out in mid April or sooner. The Demo will include demonstrations of solving puzzles, how to maneuver around the world, how to use the card system, obtaining special items to unlock hidden areas and it will give a taste of the early version of the battle system along with a challenging first boss.
~On a side note the screen shots are a tiny bit outdated. The forest of dream scenes are in the process of being redone and custom tilesets are in the works which kinda give the environment a much more attractive feel.~

The production had been slowed due to my focus on college stuffs and getting myself together in the real world. As a result I've been able to work on a custom tileset exclusively for this game and I believe it's made some wonderful results. My buddy Sillypieman(maker of Lucid Awakening) may help me a bit with the story since I personally haven't had time to create the dialogue. Music for the game has been edited and the story has been worked being revised and then revised once more! I'm determined to get a nice solid story goin before just jumping into the project =3. On other matters I still have not been able to decide which battle engine I should use. I would go for the original VX system which could work but I'm leaning toward regular sideview. ATB would work wonders but it requires a bit more work and effort and I'm just a one man team as of now. xD Artists are still needed. The mapping for the first stage of the game is 75% finished. The custome tileset for stage one was just finished recently so the first stage of the game aka the demo should be out in the summer.

Well dang....I was actually making a spin off game of alice to lol, I even posted some of the char art here lol. So I guess my only question would be is this a commercial game or not?

what I look foward @ most. is the battles, I like the vissuals, and everything. I think it would be best if you added some shadows, and some other crazy visuals!

Really?! Wow that's a coincidence! This game was intended to be commercial since I'm in need of money but I'll be allowing 20 free downloads before I start charging people. I'm mostly doing this in case any bugs occur or the game needs a little sprucing before the final product comes out. I'd very much love to look at your artwork please. Even if I can't afford to hire you. :/ I used to be able to draw decently but now I suck. And I love looking at art anyways.

Thanks for your input. I think I can deliver on the visuals being a graphic designer. I'll be attempting some nice custom battle animations that may suit your taste in crazy visuals! Now may I ask which battle systems you like most? This game may be a bit puzzle oriented but that wont stop me from looking for ways to improve the battle aspects as well!

Now thats what I like to hear, ill pm you with the art/details. And I dont think there is enough puzzles in games today, im not even a fan of it but it does seem to be lacking.
