WINE didn't like the RM engines either, but I forced it to accept it. xD

EDIT:

I got it to work. It works in both Ubuntu and Windows if you place them in Documents and turn off any "updater" processes in the background.

How far does the demo go? Wonderin' 'cause I can't follow the team. :hehee

Oh, well it is great so far! I felt like it was 1997 again and I was playing it for the first time. I think I'm going to enjoy the 2D representation of this game more than the 3D or whatever its called version!

Anyways, I'll keep an eye out for updates!

This looks impressive. Damn good, in fact!

I kind of thought it would be kind of interesting to see the game made with RM2k3 style systems (like for the menu, for example) but the method taken here probably would be for the best. Good job!

Dunno if this has been asked for already, but having Zack as a hidden/unlockable character would be cool. I doubt he'd really be any different from Cloud, but it would make for a nice reward for a side quest or something. I remember the days when I believed in that rumour where, if you spend five hours battling the Shinra troops in the subway, Zack comes along and joins your party. xD

I'm sure Vanit appreciates the support, however simply asking if he's still working on this, or that you hope he continues to work on this, or that it's good that he's working on this... you get the idea... it really offers nothing of value in terms of feedback here and can be considered spam. If you have no feedback for the project, then it's best to wait until Vanit has posted an update.

I'll continue to leave this open for the time being, unless Vanit wishes it to be closed until he has something more to add. However if the conversation continues the way it has been the past few months, it will be closed.
