Epic Boss Battles, Like in Tankentai's Options

In Tankentai's Sideview Battle System, there's a feature that allows for epic boss battles. When the "Boss" is defeated, the screen would flash and the enemy would glow and phase downwards in an epic-ish-like defeat.

I'm wondering if this would be possible for the default front view battle system for VX.

All I'll like is that I'll be able to set CERTAIN enemies (a.k.a. bosses) to have such a defeat in battle. Isn't it a simple addition? (I'm not a scriptor x.x)

Does the script work in a way such that only ONE enemy in a troop has that epic finish? Cause I'll have one or two battles where EACH opponent goes down in that fashion.
