Which tablet help? Options

I have now decided that I will sooner or later get a new computer(I hope my B-day in april but not likely.) More specifially a tablet. Problem is I dont know which tablet is the best. I love listening to music, lookin at pics, playing freewaregames,looking at youtubevideos, you know the typical stuff you would do when the internet is not on. I have heard alot about the Ipadmini and the googlenexus7 and a few others like the Xperia. (I heard Xperia sucks). More important is that I want to know if rpgmaker(any but the one I have stored on my SD card as backup is rpgmaker2000) Is compatible on a tablet (no modding or hacking).

(P.S) Just a offtopic question though and that is If rpgmaker isnt compatible with a tablet then what is the cheapest yet best brand Pc.

Currently i'm using my vita to write this but anywho Can any laptop whiz help with this problem? Okay first I looked at every website I could Thank of even microsoft.com but to no prevail...You see my darn computer has this darn problem of I guess fadin in as in its lcd screen would slowly lose color till the whole screen is gray sometimes with black borders! During this strange process from everything would freeze even the mouse pointer! worse is that since i've bendin my screen to prevent it fom fadin which it does work sometimes these strange yellow vertical lines have been showin on the right side of screen. worse still is that my warranty is up since 2 months. so basically all i wont to know is is there any help for my computer?

Just forget it...I knew there was no hope for my computer. I just read about this problem somewhere else and according to what they said it was some sort of logic board problem and also a gpu problem and that I should backup my computer so whoever is reading this should just forget this post. sigh....

Ummm , I'm no whiz but my monitor or screen on my laptop is busted, but I use an external monitor and there is no quality difference.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about external monitors like Tvs and projectors! I was pretty frustrated that day so you know...anywho thatdoesnt help much since I dont have a TV anymore. sigh... curse hurricane isaac!

Any kind of monitor works if your not picky.

Personally, just buy a new laptop.. If you LCD screen is having issues than inputs are bound to have issues later on.

@Rukiri I am already plannin on mabye buyen a Tablet. Problem is though that I dont think rpgmaker works on tablets. Second problm is though that I dont really want another clumpsy pc to deal with again. I'd think I prefer somthing light like a tablet. Well time to do some more research...

Tablets are great and they serve their purpose as something easier to pick up and go than a laptop. However, tablets by themselves cannot replace the standard PC yet. There is still too much that can't be properly done on a tablet without some hacks or workarounds.

That being said, I love my iPads to death. I use them for browsing, playing games, and watching videos on the go. There are a few other things I use them for but more or less, doing things like game design directly on the iPad is practically unthinkable. Only thing in that general area that I do use it for is just play testing the games I make on iOS. For some reason when I make a game and test it on that and see it working, I get a far better sense of accomplishment than I do when I see it working properly on the PC or in html5.
