I keep all my RPG Maker 2000 stuff (projects, that is) in one folder, 2003 stuff in another, blah blah blah.
Your problem can be best solved by reinstalling RPG Maker. Put stuff in:
C:\Program Files\ASCII\RPG2000\Project\, as well, it makes it much easier to keep track of.

Is there any way to solve the "A Project Folder Can't be Made" error?
If you're getting this, you may need to reinstall the RPG maker, also, where exactly are you saving your files?
I have 2 folders to save my game files in. One is the "Project" Folder that comes with RM2K and the other is my Documents Folder. And apparently, neither of them are working. I tried reinstalling RM2K but I still got the error.
Then I think it may be due to your project name / directory name being too long I guess, Try and shorten it, I remember getting that message a few times, but after shortening the names I eventually overcame the problem.
