Ooooh, I love the Klonoa ~ Baladium's Drive. I shouldn't had overlook the game because I played the GBA version and had fun.

Sonic 3: Hydrocity Zone Act 2.

Usual most water levels in games give out slow and nice music. But this one makes me want to dance. I just love the 0:22 part, it gets fast from there.

Persona 3 - Burn My Dread

I haven't beaten the game but I heard the music. They say this is the music that plays when doing the final battle. Not many RPG games has lyrics in battle. This music tell me: "This is it! This is the tough one. Dis out all you learned and win the game. You got this!"

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in time: Neon Night-Riders

This music makes me want to run out in the city at night and skateboard, even though I suck at it. I find myself playing this theme on racing games that I got.

Final Fantasy VIII - The Man with the Machine Gun

I'll be lying to myself if I didn't list this. FF8's The Man with the Machine Guns is one of my favorite songs. I play this theme on S4 whenever we are winning the game. Because it is time for me to throw grenades, and shoot people with my assault rifle.

F-Zero GX/AX - Captain Falcon's Theme

Oh yeah, this theme really speaks to me. It tells me to never give up, believe in my hero, and do what my hero does. With this music, I feel like I could never lose. It really makes me think of my hero.

They begun taking up the Huhja's turfs and claiming to take over the school next.

The Huhja's martial arts club has now disbanded after a crushing defeat at their turfs. The school's morale quickly started disappearing... Till an quiet first year girl joins the school. This young, quiet, small girl may look weak and helpless, but her martial art style is unseen. With her help, Huhja High must revive the club, gain new allies, discover hidden fighting arts, restore the school's morale, take back their turfs, and defeat their powerful rivals.

A game inspired by: Ranma 1/2, Persona, and Slice-of-Life Animes.

The very first Klonoa is by far the best. If you ever see it, get it! The PS1 version is better than the Wii remake. wink.gif

I'm a big, big fan of The Man With The Machine Gun. I loved battling just because of it. Another favourite from the game is Maybe I'm A Lion. It reminds me a lot of Soul Reaver's music, if anybody happens to know of it.

Here's another favourite of mine,

Golden Sun ~ Saturos Battle
A tough one to choose simply because the whole soundtrack is amazing. It's no wonder why this song has been in all three games. It's just that cool!

Burn My Dread plays in the trailer and one of the dungeons I think. Very awesome song, most of the soundtrack has lyrics too XP

In terms of videogame music: Motoi Sakuraba. The man is a deity of music composition. He scored phenomenal soundtracks for pretty much the entire Tales series (Symphonia being his finest), Baten Kaitos, Golden Sun and more recently Dark Souls.

So Symphonia-esque, I love it!

The Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack is also a masterpiece:

I could literally spam this thread all day with these songs, but I won't wink.gif

Tales of Symphonia: Full Force
An obvious nominee, but timeless nonetheless!

Baten Kaitos: The True Mirror
Just a breathtaking composition.

Persona 4: Reach Out to the Truth
An acquired taste, but still catchy as hell!

SMT3 Nocturne: Large Map Battle Theme
Business meaning, name taking, ass kicking battle theme.

You asked for competition and there you have it! Obviously it's all down to opinion but these are four of my favourites.

Here's some pretty memorable tracks from two of my absolute favourite composers/idols: Jeremy Soule and Ari Pulkkinen

Jeremy Soule

Jeremy Soule quite commonly uses tons of brass in his compositions, this is my absolute favourite of his works.
-

For this one, he had to come up with lyrics that matched the Elder Scrolls theme in a fictional language spoken by the dragons. Men's choirs are manly as hell.
-

*drools*
-

A very memorable tune. I remember the song echoing through my speakers when I completed Guild Wars: Nightfall for the first time a few years back biggrin.gif
-

Ari Pulkkinen

-
Ari Pulkkinen's music is very intriguing. He has some unusual instrument choices (like the harpsichord), but that's what makes it so awesome.
~

I tried not posting too many! wink.gif

Ill admit, Im a nerd and a metalhead. Music is important to me. I dont listen to anything on tv, mostly because I dont watch TV its usually a waste of time unless your watching the discovery channel or comedy and actually stimulating yourself. As for my favorite bands, Im going to Heavy T.O. this year and I swear my whole Ipod is going, this includes:

Slipknot (Horriable)
System of a Down ( Good)
Marilyn Manson (not bad but still pretty horiiable)
Lamb of God (Godly)
Suicidal Tendencies (Oldschool)
Gojira (even more godly)
Overkill ( okay)
High On Fire ( less okay)
Protest the Hero ( fantastic, i went to highschool with them)
Five Finger Death Punch ( semi-okay)
Killswitch Engage (pretty okay)
Cannibal Corpse (super godly)
Kataklysm (super canadian godly)
Between The Buried And Me ( epicness)
Veil of Maya (lame band imo)
Job for a Cowboy (kinda okay)
Goatwh**e (good)
The Faceless (fucking excellent)
Periphery (good)
Exhumed (great)

Just to name a few, I listen to a shitload of music and you can see it all (or atleast all the music Ive listened to on my computer) here: http://www.last.fm/user/xamasi

I've been in a real Curtis Mayfield kick recently. Mostly listening to funk and g-funk these days but the best album I've heard in a while was Beat Surrender by The Jam.

I accidentally posted the song I posted in What song are you listening to here.

I didn't really have anything to say about the song I just wanted to let you guys know that I was listening to it. xD

The song was called We're Always Losing Blood by Evergreen Terrace. I'm into metalcore... I'm kind of embarassed about it because tons of people slam the hell out of the genre calling it repetitive and uninspired, but I think there's something awesome about screamed vocals.

I've also been listening to a lot of ska lately.

Ah, well you should never be embarrassed about who you are or what you like. Everyone has opinions, and if yours aren't that popular it still doesn't change the fact that you have them. wink.gif

I don't particularly care for that genre, but I'm not judgemental about that preference, lol.

I haven't heard any Ska in a long time, now that you mention it. o.o

Reel Big Fish - Everyone Else is an A**hole. Absolutely love this song.
Streetlight Manifesto - Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe. Another great song. This is the first ska band I've heard.
Save Ferris - Come On Eileen. This one grew on me. lol.

The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance is by far the most amazing album I've ever heard. Even if you don't like that kind of music, you have to appreciate what they've done. They made a complete story out of the album, all of the songs connect perfectly with each other, and there is so much emotion put into it. It's most definitely the greatest album... EVER. MCR, for the most part, puts tons of emotion into their songs, and I really respect that. It's just way cool that they can do that.
I would suggest listening to the album THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH if you haven't before, it's the best experience ever. And really listen to the songs, because practically every note means something.

Tons of bands do that.
They're called concept albums. And concept albums are the greatest things to have ever been created.

I don't approve of MCR but that's your own opinion. At least they actually made one instead of just an album full of radio singles and a few filler tracks like a lot of "regular" bands, and I respect that.

Haha yeah I know a lot of bands do that. Linkin Park does that quite frequently, especially in A Thousand Suns. I like MCR mainly because of how much emotion is put into it, and it isn't just like, y'know, "regular." Like, I love Linkin Park too, but it seems like they don't put a whole lot of emotion into their songs. Then again, MCR is classified as "emo" so... you know xD But so is All American Rejects... and I don't like them very much.
