New reply too?
...Considering I'm not used to doing anything of this sort...I have absolutely no idea what to do, haha. I have a faint idea of how to word the OP, but not entirely sure what I should include in the reply.

Just a "I am now taking requests"?
or something more?

I hate being confused.

EDIT: OP updated.

Yeah, something as simple as that works. ^^

In the OP you could give examples of what you can do, and then just continue posting things you are working on and eventually you will likely get a request if someone likes your work/skills enough. happy.gif

Okie-dokie-lokie. So I suppose that means just saying the examples are scattered throughout the thread is a no-no?
I can update the OP with the more recent, better ones if need be.

No, I'm not saying that, lol. It's just preferred that you have a single location (OP works best) where all the good examples can be found, and if they want to check the rest of the topic for the "non-highlighted works" they can do that too. =]

It's a suggestion, not a rule. =D

Looking good; big text though. XD
No worries, at least it's definitely going to stick out to people when they read it. ^^

You might want to have a bit of text in bold and coloured that says "currently accepting requests" and when you are busy just change its colour and put "not currently accepting requests" so people are aware of when you aren't busy and when you are busy with requests. ^^

The time has come for yet another logo-type thing. It's more rather a personal user logo-thingy that I made for my younger brother at his request.

And also, a logo I made for a friend's online sprite comic.

Fire Emblem: Hidden Legends

Till next time.

I love the colours on both of them; there's a real nice contrast going on in the second one, and it looks good. happy.gif

The first one looks great, though it could be a little more readable, but other than that it's awesome. =D

Thanks, X-M-O. Glad you like them.
Yeah, first one could be more readable...It's not TOO bad, but the gradient is what makes it more unreadable at the edges of the letters. Likelihood of me redoing it, though, is somewhat smaller since I only planned for it to be a one-time thing, and I made it for my younger brother who thought it was awesome, so I guess it works, right?
As for the second one, the friend I made it for was also pleased with it, so it's all fine and dandy. smile.gif
More logos to come soon, but probably not today. Have to get over some drama stuffs that just happened. Ah well, such is the way of life.

Yeah, it's mostly unfortunate that life gets in the way of progress (strange that it does at times, lol), but of course priorities are ever present.

That it does. I won't bore you with the details, though. tongue.gif

Anyways, I whipped up another logo out of complete and utter boredom.
I really have no excuse for this.

Also, I drew something else. Yay.

Sorry if it's blurry and/or dark. My hands were in the way, my wbecam sucks, and I broke the stand thing for the webcam so I have to hold it, and I don't have very steady hands. smile.gif

For a random logo, that is a very nice one. happy.gif
It's easy to read and employs all of the elements necessary for a good logo; it has plenty of colour, plenty of contrast, etc.
I really think you've done an excellent job with it. Simple is better in most cases, and you've definitely got the clean, crisp element going on there. :3

I love the pony! Nice work. ^^

Thanks, X-M-O. I'm not sure if I was going for simple, but whatever works, as long as people like it. smile.gif

Glad you like the pony (Derpy Hooves)
My friends liked it too...However the person who is much more epic at drawing than me (except, perhaps ironically, at drawing ponies) who is kind of a jerk/braggart about her "skills" decided to comment on how I shouldn't draw anything on lined paper...Whatever though. It's not like I'm aiming to please everyone anyway. happy.gif
More pony drawings and logos to come. However I have school and my birthday coming up (This Friday, woo-hoo.), so I might not update as consistently as I have been-ish. (Since I know it isn't THAT consistent anyway. smile.gif )

Yeah, well technically using drawing paper is the way to go, but who cares what you use if you end up making something look really cool. ^^

Wish you an early Happy Birthday! ^^
Will you be having strawberry or chocolate cake? o.o

That's more or less my point. I've never been good at sizing proportions or anything so notebook paper is helpful in terms of guidelines. Of course, not like I wouldn't try drawing paper if I actually had any.

As for the type of cake I'm having, I really have no idea. A combination of the two doesn't sound half-bad though.

Weeeell, I did another logo. This time I think it looks a bit better than the last...Perhaps.

The Equine Confederate...Again.

Yeah. More to come at a later date.

I definitely like it, but now that you've got a more brilliant background, the text needs something... maybe more girth? Hmm...
Yeah, more girth and possible a little more dark (to make up for the bright background). ^^

:OOOOOOOO Wow.... I'd totally ask for a logo... IF i had any idea for a logo. Problem is i wouldn't know if i should ask fro one for my game/book or something else >< too many ideas. But i love your work sooo much O.O. And though some of it is "foggy" or slightly unreadable in some instances i like that. Makes it more mysterious. Course only if it's foggy not scrunched together >< lol. But anyway :// if i can think of which idea i'd like i'll come back ^^ you're awesome! <.< >.> -half bows-

Thank you, BulletVixen. Glad you like it. I think I can safely say I've improved quite a bit with the help of everyone who has given me tips and advice along the way.

Considering my recent semi-inactivity (It was the weekend after my Birthday, which was the 27th of January...)
I went and made a new logo.
Now, people may be wondering where I get all these names.
Usually, I just wing it and try to make something up on the spot. However, this one has more of a background story to it.
It started as a game. That's right, a game. A little "roleplay" in real life, if you will. It was started by myself and a group of friends in third grade. It was sci-fi themed, a lot of inspiration of course came from the Star Wars movies, and partially from the "Galactic Civilizations" game(s).
It eventually became more than a game to us, instead of doing things completely random, we began to create a storyline, a background to our alien races, and their history and relation to other races, and their status in their respectives galaxies and star systems. After elementary school, I met back up with two of my other friends who took part in this game/roleplay thing we did, and we developed it even further, to the point where it became a concept for a story, or perhaps a series of stories. It's been long in the making, and unfortunately one of my friends who had helped create it (and also my best friend) moved from Indiana to Oregon at the beginning of our sophomore year in high school. Despite this, I haven't stopped creating backstories and such for the characters, races, etc.

And now, for the logo.
The Annals of EleNdor

@X-M-O
I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by 'girth'.
As for darkness, I can agree. Likelihood is I'll use the font I did on the first Equine Confederate logo on the second one's background. The second version's font bothers me anyway. I was going for an "old english" look, but it didn't really work out as planned.

EDIT: Oh yeah, about the cake...It was an XBOX-360 cake. It was awesome, my grandmother made it based on a simple drawing she did on my XBOX. Had a controller too, used black licorice for the wire, and jellybeans for buttons. It was cool. And tasty. tongue.gif
