I've been looking through this place for a while and finally decided to make a thread about my own artwork. Most of things I post here are mostly from my deviantart which is right here: http://howsplendid.deviantart.com/. The same would go for the descriptions I put for each drawing
I'll post this one for today ^^ One of my drawing I'm still most proud of. Just an idea that randomly popped up when I was making my comic for my Art 2-D class. I thought about drawing my fox character in the miko clothing, since I realized how much she reminds me of Reimu. I loved how this came out. Gotta love those random ideas ^^

Wow. I really like your art. Its very fresh compared to most of the things I have seen here. And what a cute character! Now you should post more, and I will follow you on DeviantArt. (:
Games I work on: Fragments (Lead Writer, Support Artist/Animator), Valiance (Concept Artist), Esher's Quest (Support Writer, Support Artist), Bleach: Looking For (Support Writer), 1 Project TBA

Looks great! =D One thing you may want to take into consideration on colouring with pencils, is to make all of the strokes in the same direction (it gives it a uniform appearance); digital colouring doesn't have the same "strokes" problem.

Despite that, as I mentioned, it looks great.
hmm i never thought of that way, thanks I'll be sure to try that ^^;

A sketch i was working a while back. Decided to doodle one day and kept putting off submitting it. I'm thinking about trying to turn this into digial art, but still debating. :/

I definitely think you should try your hand at digital art, even if you find it difficult at first. =] I encouraged leongon to do so, and I have seen more and more amazing works from him ever since then (that isn't to take away from him being great at drawing non-digital art, but he made a heck of a lot more submissions in much less time due to not having to scan drawings).
Anyway, buddy looks absolutely adorable. =D One thing I'd change, just because of the perspective and what, is his hand being in his pocket. Perhaps it is fine being in his pocket, but the pocket would actually be more to the side so that it doesn't look as if he's got his hands in a naughty spot. (Yes, it does look a little like that currently.)
He seems to be a little excited about his bone, so I'm thinking that his hand could do better outside of his pocket in order to give a better portrayal of his excitement (I'm thinking he's happy to have the bone and is showing it off, so he probably wouldn't have his other hand in his pocket at all; he looks a little too relaxed with it in his pocket whilst being excited about showing off his bone).
I hope that all makes sense, lol. But yes, definitely a very cool sketch. =D Keep up the good work! ^^

Here's another drawing. A character of mine that I've been putting off drawing for so long. I finally drew and finished my drawing of my character Cindy. It kinda sucks that she remained as a sketch for so long, but not anymore. The background came out a little bit better than the last one. The gun that Cindy is holding in her hand is a Red-9, which is her favorite handgun. I also decided to try wind effects for the first time, please let me know how I did!

Looks great! Nice design on the weapon and character. =D
The wind idea looks cool, and works. I'm sure you used an eraser and went over in swirls, which actually looks just fine. =]
The leaves portray the wind best, though you could simply put a small, thin line trailing behind them in swirly motions and it would accomplish the same thing.
Also, the grass is definitely going the right direction, in terms of strokes. The stone wall strokes look odd because you didn't colour them in individually (which you should do for stones, and give them their own "texture" strokes; because it currently looks like a single stone with lines drawn on top of it to make it look like a bunch of stones bricked atop each other).
Hope that helps; you've definitely got some skill going on here.

We have some more furries coming around now~ They all look wonderful and the colouring is great! Are these recent artwork or are you building your collection of work up as you go along? Love the character and expression they have in their faces~ I'll be checking out your DA!

Apologize for the double post... -_-
might as well put up another drawing while I'm at it.
I've been wanting to make one since I first found out about these. Now I have: My first Paperchild. I love how this one came out and hope to make more in the future.
So dogs don't like to be pulled by the tail, huh? how about the ears? So fluffy. =w=
Lol! That's a cute paper child and I like his panicked look! He's well done, too!
Hope theirs a paper puppy family soon XD

Yes, it changes randomly from a selection of about 65 images (I add more occasionally, but it is extremely rare to find that someone has seen them all). =]

decided to attach the file this time too....might be the last time i do that lol
A double-post (with a submission or update to a submission) is permissible in this area. Just don't bump your topic without adding a submission or update to a submission.
It's amazing! I find the idea to be brilliant, and the art to be just as well. =D
(Also, attaching files hopefully works fine for you, please let me know otherwise, and we'll try to get it working better for you.)

Guess I'll put up something new This is my second paperchild, funny enough this picture was taken back when I had my old com. good times =w=
I made my second paperchild. I love how this one came out. It's been awhile since I last put up anything on my fox character Kate Walker. As you can see she's just relaxing, listening to some tunes being petted >w<
