Ok, well ive moved into the spriting region recently and ive created my own little sprites and they look kinda odd when the walk, so i was wondering if anyone with more experience than I could gives me some suggestions on changes

(ignore the pre-builts and the "crawling/climbing" sprite, those are already under repair)
[Show/Hide] Bob Spritesheet

and while your at it, can you look at these 2 battle sprites for some added suggestions, the more info the better ^^

the main issue with the spritesheet is that when Bob walks left/right it looks like hes sidestepping, and when walking up or down while it looks ok it looks more like hes just shifting his weight back and forth rather than walking

Your mid-stance needs to be set up higher than the others. If you look at the defaults, they actually kind of bob (lol) back and forth when they walk. Bob (the sprite)'s head is set at a constant height so when he walks, it doesn't look like he's taking steps.

I'm no spriter, but I do understand the animation part of it. If that doesn't work then I dunno.. haha

- actually scratch that.. the ones where he's stepping needs to be offset a little from the mid stance.
