EDIT: In a moment of complete and utter stupidity, I forgot to include the file. This has been fixed.
EDIT2: For those of you receiving an error saying "quicksave_exe.rvdata not found," that was a bug that affected everone BUT the programs creator. This has also been fixed. Download the file again.
EDIT3: In yet another moment of stupidity, after I fixed the bug, I forgot to upload the file again. This has been fixed.
Many of you may have played final fantasy games. Those of you that have will recognize this script.
Basically, you can select "Quicksave" from the main menu. This will imediately abort your game, and add a new option to the title screen: Continue. Please Note that it helps to have the Vocab for loading is changed from "Continue" to "Load" so that you do not have two options with the same name.
Once this is done, selected continue will resume the game where the quicksave left it. Resuming a quicksave or loading any other file automatically deletes the the quicksave.
There are a couple of visual bugs, but it's 11:00 at the time of posting and I'm tired. I'll fix them later. Functionally, it works fine.
Don't use it if you are using anything else that changes the menu or the title screen, unless you know scripting. If you know scripting, it shouldn't be hard to tweak this script to make it compatible.
This script may be used in free or commercial products, but my name must be given.
