With the death of Diva and her Chevaliers, it was thought that the Chiropteran menace would eventually die away. However, this plan was not successful. The Chiropterans continued to prosper. As a last resort the newly formed Crimson Shield, funded by Cinq Fleché and Goldsmith Holdings, enlisted the help of the Corps Corp. A group of perfected Schiff.(Artificially created Chiropterans) It seemed like this plan would work, and for a few years it did, but eventually the Corpse Corp went rogue and attacked the Crimson Shield's headquarters.

The Crimson Shield was crushed to a pulp.

The Red Shield, the original group who vowed to hunt down and kill Diva was formed once again, with new members such as Solomon Goldsmith, and David III it was hoped that the Corpse Corp would be apprehended without having to resorting to killing them. However, the CC still proved to be undefeatable.

It was decided that Kanade, and Takeda were to be told of their true identities.

They were...Diva's flesh and blood, and thus...Chiropterans.

Kanade and Takeda proved to be the most efficient weapons against the Corpse Corp and Chiropterans while Saya remains in her 30 year hibernation.

The war with the Corpse Corp still rages on.

Weapon:Revolver with blood filled bullets, and occasionally a Katana
Kanade, much like Diva in personality is the fun loving easily excited member of Red Shield. Much like Diva she occasionally feels the need to consume blood, however she prefer the blood of cattle rather than of Humans. Unlike Takeda, she greatly anticipates the awakening of her aunt Saya, the slayer of Diva and her Chevaliers. Her eyes are red, just like Saya.

Weapon:Exact Replica of Saya's Sword
Unlike Kanade, Takeda takes her role as a Chiropteran slayer extremely seriously, and doesn't approve of Diva's happy outlook on existence during these dark days of death. She feels a resentment towards Saya as because of her, she has never had the opportunity of meeting her mother, all she has had is the information written in Joel's Diary. Takeda has blue eyes, like Diva.

Name: Kazuki Himotora (Kazuki means (kazu) "one" or 和 (kazu) "harmony" combined with 輝 (ki) "radiance, shine" or 希 (ki) "hope"; i'm going with "one hope". As usual, I made up a random last name.)
Age: 16
Weapon: Dual katanas
History: Kazuki was born an artificial Schiff, originally branded "EX", created and technically "born" at the age of 13, though when he was born is particuarly unknown. He was part of the Corpse Corps, but he, mysteriously enough, was the only attempt of a dumped project to insert free will into the Schiff that were made for the C.C.. When the C.C. went rogue, "EX" ran away from his own forces. Giving himself a name, Kazuki, he then turned to fight against his fellow creations, knowing full well it was all wrong. Kazuki fights alone, but more often than not tends to brush shoulders with Red Shield during battles against the C.C..
Character: He has white eyes (Think the Hyuuga from "Naruto), dark green spiky-hair, and wears a white shirt and black pants school uniform, as well as a vertical scar across his left eye. Kazuki is quiet and composed, fighting with quick on-the-spot tactics rather than showing off or using pure brawn. He is a great voice of wisdom and reason, being able to analyze things to their fullest. Oddly has a soft spot for Kanade and little furry animals, and loves ramen so much he'll go through 10 bowls in 30 seconds (no joke)!
